Notice of Preparation for the Draft Environmental Impact Report
A Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) will be prepared by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California as Lead Agency under the California Environmental Quality Act. The DEIR will assess the potential environmental impacts of the proposed Jensen Solids Handling Facility Project located in Los Angeles County at 13100 Balboa Boulevard, Granada Hills, California, 91344. Due to the time limits mandated by state law, written comments must be received by Metropolitan not later than 30 days after the start of the noticing period, which begins November 23, 2009 and ends December 23, 2009.
