SPECIAL FEATURES OF MEMBER AGENCY

Santa Ana joined Metropolitan as one of its original cities. The city is operating a hydro-generator at SA-1 connection to the Orange County Feeder.

Santa Ana replaces and constructs 13,000 feet of new distribution pipe each year and still operates a one million-gallon freestanding elevated storage tank.

Santa Ana is participating in the "Green Acres" project which uses reclaimed water to irrigate parks, schools and industrial use.
