Metropolitan Invests___

Our reliability and forward-thinking planning resonate in the financial community by earning high credit ratings. We invest in a strong regional workforce, look to increase water storage, support local resource development, including the Pure Water Southern California regional water recycling program and actively source funding through grants.

Metropolitan Conserves___

Since the 1990s, we have invested more than $1.6 billion in conservation, recycled water programs and groundwater recovery and realized a nearly 40 percent reduction in per capita potable water use.

Metropolitan Sustains___

We embrace renewable and clean energy, invest in ecosystem protection and restoration as well as promote sustainable landscapes. The evidence is in solar panels at our treatment plants, generation of clean hydroelectric energy at our pump plants, exploration of a zero-emissions fleet, and 30,000 acres of multi-species reserves that help to protect watersheds and habitat for native and endangered species.
